Lumify didn't begin in a boardroom with investors and a business plan. It began with a separation and a decision.
Manny Gomez had been running marketing for a plumbing company, handling campaigns, building strategy, and generating results that most agencies would put in a case study. But results don't always matter when the vision doesn't match. The expectations were different. The approach was different. And at some point, it became clear that the only way to do marketing the right way was to do it independently.
So that's what happened. The job ended, and Lumify began.
In 2024, with nothing but a relentless work ethic and a clear understanding of what businesses actually need to grow, Manny launched Lumify as a one-man operation. No massive budget. No safety net. Just a conviction that Tucson's business community deserved better than what they were getting from the agencies they were paying.
The first year was a real test. Building a client base from zero, proving the model, earning trust in a market that had seen plenty of marketing agencies come and go promising big things. There were no shortcuts taken and no corners cut. Every account was treated like it was the only account. Every result was documented. Every lesson was applied.

Lumify serves as the Official Digital Intelligence Partner of the Sugar Skulls, an IFL arena football team with a massive and loyal fanbase in Tucson. We handle the majority of their marketing, from digital campaigns and paid media to brand strategy and audience development. It's not a logo on a banner. It's a real, working partnership where Lumify is in the room, making decisions that drive real outcomes.
